Yesterday as I finished my to do list for my business I found myself in my emails deleting ones that I no longer want or need. As I was doing this, I cam across one fro Matt Morris. It was a “Motivation Monday” video. After watching this video it left me searching YouTube for more videos with the same inspiration. I found a couple short ones that were great, but nothing resonating with me.
At one point I asked myself why I was looking for motivational videos in the first place… I then went to TED.com and watched a couple interesting videos there. As I was watching a video I saw off to the side a tag that read “jaw-dropping”. Not that had my attention! I clicked the still pic and that began my small journey to a new deeper level of aha moments I’ve been having these last couple of weeks.
The presenter has a way with words, props, and visuals. In 2007, Carnegie Mellon professor Randy Pausch, who was dying of pancreatic cancer, delivered a one-of-a-kind last lecture that made the world stop and pay attention. This moving talk will teach you how to really achieve your childhood dreams. Unmissable. I encourage everyone to watch this video. It’s an hour and sixteen minutes long and worth every second of your life. It’ll move you and change your life. Take the time, grab a cup of coffee, tea, or whatever, just watch it.
How does this resonate with you?
What did you learn from Randy?
This is a moving tale of dreams…
