Ever had one of those weeks that one thing after another goes wrong? Everything you do even when trying to correct something goes wrong? Yep, that was my week and that’s why it’s been so long since I’ve posted an update for you.
So here are a few things that have been going wrong. I about lost my housing again, due to miscommunications from landlord, myself, and a 3rd party who is paying the back rent owned. No job prospects. No one signed up in my company. No interview clothes. And meetings that the state program thinks will land me a job. Problem is the program admits the jobs are little and next to none with a ton of job searchers looking for work. Too many people looking for work and no work. Not sure how this will solve the problem? Any ideas?
Man, I’m just glad my son is so busy. He doesn’t need to deal with all the crap. He told me the other day that he isn’t too stressed out about what is going on. I asked why? He shrugged his shoulders and said “I have faith in you, you’ve never let me down before.” WOW – what a statement. Realize this is a teen boy saying this. I got tears in my eyes and I turned away so he wouldn’t see. I didn’t need any more then that to set me on fire and get some mental things in place. We didn’t know if we had a place to stay the next day and he says that. WOW – I truly have an amazing son!
Perseverance is the name of the game these days. So that’s what I did for the entire week. I focused on accomplishing what needed to be done that day and nothing more. I made it through that period and now I’m onto the next, which has been a labyrinth of inspiration, words, love, and above all friendship. This has been in the last 2 days!
